Our aim is to support young people who are looked after children, care leavers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, to achieve positive outcomes throughout their transition to adulthood and independent living. To achieve this, we have a robust life skills programme in place to support young people to gain the required skill set for independent living post 18.

The Haven Place is a supported accommodation provider aiming to deliver high-quality person-centred support packages for young people aged 16-18, to maximise positive outcomes and opportunities.We provide tailored support for young people, including those with challenging behaviour and/or emotional needs in a semi-independent setting. We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

At The Haven Place, we firmly believe that every young person aged 16-18 has the right to be supported into a successful transition from childhood to adulthood regardless of their background or circumstances. We constantly adapt to be able to respond appropriately to the young person’s changing needs yet have consistency that builds trusting relationships with the young person to enable strong foundations to be established.

Our purpose is to support young people aged 16-18 in high quality accommodationto ensure that they have the skills they need to make a successful transition to adulthood and independence. Our team of highly trained staff will support people in the development of self-reliance, self-care skills and independent living skills that they need to make informed and age-appropriate decisions to prepare for a successful future.
